Para los nostálgicos noventeros y fans de Pavement, se reeditará otro de sus álbumes. Me refiero al Brighten the Corners (1997) que, si bien no fue tan bueno como los maravillosos Slanted and Enchanted (1992) y Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain (1994), sí fue de los mejores de su año.

Esta vez el relanzamiento de Brighten the Corners va casi también por el mismo lado en el que Matador Records había sacado reediciones de los otros dos álbumes que les mencioné. Se titula Brighten The Corners: Nicene Creedence Ed. y en el disco de extras también vendrán incluidas canciones que hicieron en ese tiempo pero nunca habían visto la luz.

Demos, b-sides y grabaciones que hicieron para la BBC Radio One (con John Peel, porsupuesto), para la KCRW de Los Angeles y otras sesiones que hicieron en distintas estaciones de radio vendrán recopiladas en este lanzamiento.

¿Se les hace agua la boca? Sí, a mi también. Lo mejor es que tendremos que esperar menos de un mes ya que el lanzamiento está previsto para el 18 de octubre. La edición también incluye un booklet de 62 páginas con fotos, escritos y demás cosillas. En total son 21 tracks extras y se los dejo después del salto.
