Pavement

Son tiempos en el que las ventas de los CDs siguen decreciendo drásticamente año con año y el vinilo recupera su auge ante la demanda de consumidores que quieren fidelidad y durabilidad.

Matador Records entiende perfectamente este mercado y reeditará en dicho formato el Brighten the Corners, un disco memorable que sacaron los Pavement en 1997. Esta reedición básicamente es la misma de la que les hable el año pasado que fue lanzada en CD, pero con el plus de que vienen otros 8 tracks extras y dentro de los cuales existen 5 canciones que nunca habían visto la luz.

En total son 4 LP’s que serán lanzados el 23 de junio e incluyen el álbum original, lados b, versiones en vivo y otras rarezas. Por cierto, ¿tanta reedición de Pavement será un augurio de que por fin en poco tiempo Stephen Malkmus anuncie el regreso? Yo lo veo difícil.
